What We Believe-English

I. We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of the living God. We believe God’s plan is to have a personal relationship with all people who receive His salvation and forgiveness.

(“For God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16)

II. We believe that Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection are proofs of His Lordship, and that He is the promised Messiah of Israel. This is established by His fulfillment of 61 Old Testament prophesies, which confirm His divine nature as well as His historical human existence. (Micah 5:2 Born in Bethlehem; Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel, born of a virgin; Psalm 1:10 and Luke 20:42 Born of the house of David; Psalm 22:16-18 Crucified through our sins; Zechariah 11:12-13 Betrayed by His friend, for thirty pieces of silver; Hosea 6:2  He would arise  on the third day from the dead. And He would save His people from their sins Matthew 1:21; Romans 1:2-5).

III. We believe a person enters into a born again relationship with Jesus Christ through two components of faith:

1. Believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and accepting His payment for our sins on the Cross.

“As many as received Him, to them He gave a right to become children of God, even to those who believe

in His Name.” John 1:12

2. Confessing through prayer that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior who died on the Cross for your sin and rose from the dead. As we confess our sins to Him and repent (turn away) from our sins, Jesus makes us a new creation, born again in our spirit through grace.

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith which we preach, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” Romans 10:8-10.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1.John 1:8-9.

3. Unless a person is born again in their spirit through faith in Jesus Christ, they cannot see the kingdom of heaven. This means we are not saved by our own good works, but we are saved from judgement by the free gift of God´s grace as we trust in Jesus to forgive us.

“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”… “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:3,5

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10.

“For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:23-24

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.
